Outfit of the Day: Coney Island Date
It's been awhile since I've done an outfit of the day post, and it's been almost a year since I've been to Coney Island. Last September, before the boyfriend moved to New York, he came to visit and we took a day trip to Coney Island. It was overcast that day so we didn't stay long. On one of his few days off, he asked if I'd like to go back for a date and of course I agreed. I put on one of my favorite outfits, did my hair in a way I don't often do it (two top buns made me feel very childlike and cute) and off we went.
One of the best things about Coney Island is the art walls exhibit. There's all these cool paintings that make for a great photoshoot spot. I had to grab some OOTD pics there before we went and explored the rest the area.
Much thanks to Levi for indulging me and taking photos!

Levi and I got typical amusement park food at Nathans's Famous and walked around the rides, debating if it was worth it to spend money on one. We decided against it, and instead took a lot of photos and just enjoyed each other's company.
We eventually made our way over to the New York Aquarium and took about an hour to walk through that. I've never actually been to an aquarium before, so it was nice to finally go, however, most of the exhibits were closed so there wasn't much to see and I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone until they finish their construction. There was a 4D Spongebob movie though, that I thought was going to be stupid, but it turned out to actually be a fun 10 minute film with bubbles, moving seats, spritzing water and amazing 3D effects, so that was a plus.
I'm glad Levi and I got a nice date together and I'm hoping to do more fun things around NYC to keep me feeling less stir-crazy and in adventure mode.
