Photo Journal: Return to London
It was so wonderful to be back in London this month, even if it was for a very short time. Because I've already lived there, I tried to spend more time just experiencing a few new places and revisiting a couple places I loved. I was able to see a couple dear friends and reminisce about old times and I got much too emotional when I saw the city because I do really miss it a lot and it makes me sad to know that I could've spent a bit more time there before giving it up, but I made a choice, and that's okay. But during my time, I made it to Bywater Street, colorful rows of homes that look like Notting Hill, but are tucked away in Chelsea. I also visited a place called St. Dunstan-in-the-East, which are ruins of a former church, made into a park. I got to see the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child theatre setup out front, which made me a bit sad that I won't get to see it while it's in its first run. I also spent way too much money at Primark, so much in fact that I needed to purchase a suitcase to get all the clothes back to America.
