Sunday Swag | March 22

sundayswagg-1024x539 I bought a ticket to see Benedict Cumberbatch in-person, one last time before I leave the UK on March 31. It's a show called "Letters Live," and him, alongside other famous people, will read out letters in a dramatic fashion. I'm not sure what to expect, but I am excited to catch my fifth glance of my favorite actor, and am glad it's happening before I return home.

My dissertation meetings with my adviser are going great. He has been so helpful in helping me imagine my screenplay and he makes me confident in creating a story that will be fun to tell. I don't want to spoil the plot, but at the moment, it's a romantic comedy and that's all I'll reveal ;)

This photo is a comparison of me now vs the beginning of the year. I have now lost 23lbs and I can't believe my progress! It's very encouraging to see it in my face slimming and feel it in my clothes getting looser. I leave the UK in a little over 2 weeks, and hitting my goal of losing 26lbs looks like it will happen! I also have stopped biting my nails (completely on accident), so life is good.

My classmates and I recently figured out that there's a media casting company on the same street as our campus, having seen two celebrities walk by in the course of a day. I saw Samuel Anderson (who you might remember I met back in December at his play State Red) and then Laura Haddock (wife of Sam Claflin). We were much too excited to make this discovery.

It's all of a sudden hit me that I only have two weeks left in London, but sadly, I can't think of anything I HAVE to do before I leave. It's crazy to think that I've already done it all. Obviously I haven't, but for the most part, I've done all the touristy things and anything left just costs a bunch of money, and I can't afford it. Hopefully I'll think of something I must do before leaving that doesn't empty my wallet.
